Design Thinking

Participants explore the six disciplines of Design Thinking to use for complex problem solving and strategic thinking. Explorative, User-Centered, Divergent, Multi-disciplinary, Iterative, and Integrative disciplines are all covered in hands-on group exercises with relevant problems to solve. This is a highly-interactive course that involves every participant, from paired interviews to group ideation and problem-solving.

New Role Transition Strategy

This course focuses on planning for productivity after transitioning to a new role. The 90-day plan has 3 key focus areas that lead to productivity and a strong brand mobilization – gaining appropriate proprietary knowledge, navigating vital information, and developing a strategic people network. After the session, participants receive weekly documents (13 weeks) to support their transition and measure productivity.

Personal Productivity & Efficient Meetings

This course has two symbiotic sessions focused on efficient work practices. Participants take inventory of their current actions lists and section their work into four categories. Participants work to systemically improve their productivity using the Eisenhower Matrix. Participants audit and scorecard various meetings they take part in. Output is analyzed for sustained and measurable meeting improvement. Facilitation skills are practiced and applied in group exercises.

Innovating, Disrupting & Leading Change

This course gives participants insight into three areas of innovation - products, processes, and business models. Participants learn the Law of Diffusion of Innovation and the process-driven steps of crossing the chasm between early adopters and early majority. As application of disruptive innovation is tightly connected to change - how we change and how we respond to change, participants experience case stories to analyze and consider.

Negotiating Budget, Timeline & Scope

This professional skills course starts with a foundation that allows participants to easily understand the key concepts of negotiation, as well as utilizing the tools to better negotiate in the business world. This is a core skill for professionals who managing scope, deadlines, and resources.
